About the Role
Looking for a highly-motivated Data Flow Operations Specialist to join an innovative team responsible for processing, analyzing, transmitting, exfiltrating, and storing large amounts of data.
As a Data Flow Operations Specialist you will be responsible for:
• Resolving routine O&M data flow problems relevant to operational system software and system environments.
• Providing written input into the development and documentation of standard operating (SOPs) for O&M activities.
• Executing SOPs for O&M activities.
• Setting up dashboard in Elasticsearch for data-flows.
• Configuring and deploying environments using CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Developing procedures to transmit data.
• Supporting the testing, configuration, and implementation of data exfiltration solutions.
• Executing common Linux/bash commands.
Required Skills & Demonstrated Experience
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in data flow operations.
Experience operating Linux systems with the ability to navigate and execute common Linux/bash commands.
Experience with Java software development.
Ability to understand technical issues and break the problems down into steps for resolution.
Understanding of networking concepts including VPN, DNS, masking, NAT, Cisco Switches, firewalls, and gateways.
Experience running common networking Linux commands and operating and troubleshooting VPN software.
Understanding of network engineering concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SFTP at a minimum)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline. If the candidate does not have a Bachelor's degree, they must have (5) additional years of experience.

Experience with Nifi.
Experience with Elasticsearch.
Experience with AWS.
Experience creating CloudFormation scripts and Ansible.
