About the Role
Day to day responsibilities include:
• With Sponsor oversight, select appropriate cloud services to design and deploy applications and databases based on given requirements.
• Manage instances of cloud infrastructure services and multiple cloud servers.
• Manage enhancements and improvements to current data systems technology and processes, including data access authorizations against enterprise-approved user attributes and solutions with Sponsor oversight.
• In consultation with Sponsor’s management, assist to determine both technical and business goals and make detailed plans to accomplish these goals.
• Create functional design specifications, architectures and render support with other cloud project deliverables.
• Provide operations and maintenance of databases in the cloud infrastructure.
• Support Sponsor’s representatives in cloud environment purchase, engineering, and architecture related activities as applicable to applications and databases.
Required Skills & Demonstrated Experience
• Extensive experience working with AWS cloud services such as S3, RDS, SNS and SQS
• Strong grasp of DevOPS processes and tools to enable CI/CD pipelines, particularly with database deployments.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services environments, including RDS, S3, etc.
• Working within an Agile project management model and approved Project Management Frameworks.
Desired Skills & Demonstrated Experience
• Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services/Cloud Data Migration Services.
