
About the Role
Looking for someone who
• Maintains a strong awareness of technical trends in information technology.
• Develops and maintains a strong awareness of on-going IT projects, and business unit requirements.
• Develops end-to-end cost analysis for projects; ensure systems being developed comply with the enterprise technical architecture.
• Provide operations and maintenance of applications in the cloud infrastructure.
• Support Sponsor’s representatives in cloud environment purchase, engineering, and architecture related activities as applicable to applications.
• Assist the Sponsor’s product owner with mitigating or avoiding risks.
• Deliver development requirements as requested by the Sponsor.
• Use a Sponsor-approved tracking system for issues and problems.
• Create and maintain an automated test environment in the Sponsor’s AWS environment using technologies such as Selenium or comparable testing tools.
• The Contractor shall work in cohort and cohesively with other contractor teams to complete requirements.
Required Skills & Demonstrated Experience
• Demonstrated experience identifying possible technical and/or security abnormalities and provide documented responses.
• Supporting technical requirements management.
• Performing complex problem management research and issue resolution with the Sponsors infrastructure
• With multiple OS’s, including Windows, Linux, and OSX.
• With multiple Hypervisors including HyperV, ESX, and VirtualBox.
• With Cisco OS, including iOS, NexusOS.
• With Windows Management including Active Directory, SCOM, and VMM)
• With LAN and WAN deployments
• With Enterprise Backup Solutions such as Microsoft DPM, and ArcServe Backup Suite)
• With Storage Area Networks (SAN), including design, provisioning, capacity planning, and maintenance.
• (U//FOUO) Demonstrated experience in the design, engineering, testing, and implementation of migrating Hyper-V virtual machines from Windows 2008 to Windows 2012 R2 cluster Hyper-V environment
• Network design (LAN & WAN), including backup systems and disaster recovery architectures (DR).
• Evaluating hardware and software products against customer requirements for technical evaluation and potential procurement.
• Designing, engineering, implementing, and maintaining COTS/GOTS applications.
• With Network Monitoring Appliances.
• Assisting with automation of administrative tasks through scripting.
Desired Skills & Demonstrated Experience
• With IT system security.
• Shell scripting
• SQL Server experience and familiarity with Oracle 10g/11g, and MySQL
• Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2, 2016.
• With using System Center.
• Storage systems, including Net App, and HP.
• VMware ESX
• The various types of forensic software.
• HP Servers and HP Blade Chassis
• Providing recommendations in technical standards, security standards, and operational assurance.
• Providing recommendations to architecture and design reviews.
• Interfacing with vendors and third party producers
• Building, configuring, and troubleshooting customized forensic workstations
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
